Biography
Little Chris was raised in the north west suburbs of Stockholm, which is fast becoming the breeding ground for some of todays top music producers and emerging musical talent. Little Chris himself, achieved national recognition through Swedish television by the age of 13. Having been talent spotted, as a guitar prodigy, whilst jamming at Stockholm's famous blues bar, Stampen.
Subsequently, Chris found himself signed to major record label Stockholm Records/Universal at the age of 14. His debut album ”At Last..." was released in 2002, when Chris was aged only 17. This gave Chris the opportunity to support two of his blues heroes John Mayall and Walter Trout at some of Europe's Biggest Jazz and Blues Festivals.
Ever since this early success, Chris has been in demand as a guitar sideman, to some of todays leading artists, Billy Paul, Tinie Tempah, Emelie Sandé, Tinchy Stryder, and Jasmine Kara. Chris has been making a name for himself under his real name Christopher Shorooi. You can hear him on, Tinie Tempah's UK Number 1 hit single, 'Written In The Stars'. Legendary record producer Marshall Chess announced: "That was the best damn guitar solo I've heard in over 25 years" after seeing Chris perform. High praise from someone with such an established name in the industry.
